Passing of Greg Black

Posted on December 28, 2017

Greg Black, 1955 - 2017

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Greg Black, on December 22 2017.

Greg was a longtime Liberal activist, most recently running Trisha Cowie’s 2015 election campaign, a campaign in which Trisha rose from newcomer to near-winner, coming within 1,500 votes of taking the seat here in Parry Sound-Muskoka.

Greg’s obituary page and further details can be found  HERE.

A celebration of life is taking place on Friday December 29 at 2pm at the Bracebridge Sportsplex, at 110 Clearbrook Trail, Bracebridge. Google Map. All are welcome.

Our sincere condolences go out to Greg’s family and many friends, a good number of whom volunteer here in the riding. Those who may want to send Beth and the family a note can direct it to Beth Black, 1029 Tough Lane, Bracebridge ON, P1L 1W8.

Thank you for everything, Greg. Rest in peace. We’ll miss you.
